SMALL MOTH BEANS / Matki

The moth bean is a plant belonging to the *Vigna* genus; it is also known as mat bean, Turkish gram, or matki. It has a flavor similar to that of the mung bean. Because the seeds are small, they are excellent for use in soups and curries.
